In my previous article https://travelonbudgets.com/travel/destinations/i-lost-my-phone-in-paris/, I mentioned about pickpocket in Paris and some tips for solo travelers.

Sorry for writing about negative aspect first haha but belive me, you must visit Paris. In my opinion, it is one of the best cities I have ever been to. And if you are under 25, pack your luggage and fly to Paris immediately: D

Why I say that?… Do you know that if you are under 25, you can get free admission to most of the museums including the Louvre, Musée d’Orsay, there which are the main attraction in the city? Also, when you buy a ticket to go on top of the Eiffel Tower, you get around 40% off. I paid 8 euro for the lift because the walk way is close at 17:00.

And if you stay long in Paris and would like to enjoy all the activities, I think you should buy special Passes. For me, I only chose the most outstanding ones as I had 3 days. In addition, when travelling, I prefer to be a walker to explore the city, so I do not need any pass J

Here are some useful pass that you can consider:

  1. Paris Passlib

Presented in the form of a card, the Mini pass (1 day) includes: unlimited travel for one day on the L’Open tour sightseeing buses, as well as a 1-hour cruise on the Seine with the Compagnie Bateaux Parisiens. When you purchase your ticket, you also have the option of booking a fast track ticket to the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower.

Staying for a longer period? The Paris Passlib’ 2, 3, or 5 day versions enable you to see and do a maximum of things in Paris. In addition to the Paris Passlib’ card, these versions include: a ticket for unlimited travel(zones 1 to 3) as well as a Paris Museum Pass that gives you access to the main museums and monuments in Paris.

If you are EU citizen, the price is even cheaper. I am so jealous haha.

  1. Paris Visite

If you are not a walker, you can go with this Pass (single trip cost 2,9 euro). The price is here

As I mentioned earlier, depending on how long you stay and what activities you want to do, you can decide to buy these Passes or not. Hope you can make a right choice 😀
