Notting Hill is so much more than just the setting for a famous movie: it hosts to the Notting Hill Carnival, Europe’s biggest street festival; it is also home to lovely restaurants, bars and shops; and Notting Hill has one of London’s best markets: Portobello Road Market.

Attracting countless thousands of people to its colorful and vibrant backstreets, Notting Hill is a wonderful choice to spend a weekend. Whether you’re into shopping, eating, film, or just people sightseeing, it’s a great area to wander for a few hours.
My first time there was at the end of May 2020 when the pandemic is still harsh in London. However, the Portobello market is still open, and quite many people on the street. Therefore, I can imagine how packed it is on normal days.
You can easily get to Notting Hill by tubes and buses. To avoid public transportation, I cycled there. It took me like nearly an hour from Central London :)))))
For those who would love to have lovely photos, it is your place. You may prepare more than one outfits. Just kidding!!! But for sure, you will get stunning spots.
Here are some of my photos of my journey. Can’t wait to see your experience in Notting Hill
